Benson joins SPEED booth for three races in Sept.

Johnny Benson, the reigning Camping World Truck Series champion, will join Rick Allen and Phil Parsons in the SPEED booth for three upcoming races.

Benson will offer analysis in place of Michael Waltrip, whose Sprint Cup Series driving duties conflict with three Truck Series races, at Iowa Speedway (Sept. 5), Gateway (Sept. 12) and Las Vegas (Sept. 26).

Benson, sidelined by injuries sustained in a June accident in a Supermodified race at Berlin Raceway in Michigan, holds 14 wins, 56 top-five finishes and 85 top-10s in his Truck Series career.
